His technical knowledge, ability to multitask, and strong problem-solving skills enable him to orchestrate remarkable events and manage intricate projects with efficiency.
My Story
With over 30 years of experience in the event production industry, Rees Productions' founder & CEO Daniel Rees is a highly skilled technical and creative leader known for delivering exceptional results across live events. From intimate venues to large-scale international productions, he combines deep technical proficiency with sharp critical listening and strong problem-solving abilities.
Daniel is an experienced in A/V engineer, having worked with internationally recognized artists and toured extensively with theatrical productions. He also worked in various studio settings, managed multiple companies and A/V departments worldwide, and is skilled in maintaining complex A/V systems, leading teams, and producing technical documents.
After many years specializing in large-scale conference production in Europe, Daniel moved to the U.S. in 2017 and had the privilege to redesign sound systems in multiple iconic venues, including Cafe Wha? in NYC.
He soon decided to follow his passion for the event industry and founded Rees Productions, initially a technical production company. During the Covid pandemic, Rees Productions was among the first to make the shift into the virtual event world, quickly growing into a full-scale event production company.
With the same innovative mindset Daniel is now venturing into the podcast production world, establishing SE7EN STUDIO in the famed 7 World Trade Center building, while he continues to lead the Rees Productions team in high-level productions with professionalism, precision, and decades of hands-on expertise.
